By 1903 the Weatherbird was becoming very popular as the Post-Dispatch mascot. While taking over the daily Weatherbird early that year, Oscar Chopin also began to create true comic strips of the bird. The strips were independent of the front page weather column, and run as a sort of filler, especially in Sunday papers.
This list is comprehensive, though it is possible there are some I have not found.

The weather column and its bird were bumped to page 13, in Part 2 of the paper, which was common in Sunday editions at this time.
